Key Responsibilities
A Work Permit Receiver is responsible for obtaining, reviewing, and implementing approved work permits before any activity begins on site. The individual must carefully verify job scope, ensure that all safety precautions listed in the permit are properly communicated to workers, and confirm that required tools and protective equipment are available. The WPR coordinates with supervisors, safety officers, and client representatives to maintain smooth workflow while preventing unsafe practices. Continuous monitoring of ongoing activities is also required to ensure that conditions remain safe throughout the shift. In case of any hazard, deviation, or emergency, the WPR must immediately stop the work and report the situation to the concerned authority.
